Description
This is Sakurako, I had an extremely difficult time with her within this image and I was almost ready to leave her out the image completely but then the premise would be lost.
The Cherry Blossoms or Sakura (Japanese) are nearing the end of their life. This year is a bit premature due to stormy conditions here in Kyushu. Still they (Sakura) are very beautiful to behold. I wanted to convey the sight of the petals dropping, sometimes giving the impression of a snow storm. In Japan we picnic under the cherry blossoms and it is considered very good fortune should a petal fall into your beverage. Sakurako is trying to catch a petal ~ as many; young and old are sometimes apt to do. Without a camera it is a hard picture to imagine. I am sorry it is not a better rendition.
Sakurako is wearing Tail Gunner Jacket, Oriental Girls top and Lotus Skirt with A3 Clothings boots and stockings. All have adjusted colors with the OG top and skirt having SS Texture tools Blue Tropic and the jacket and boots have Mapps Old Denim texture, her stockings have Mapps T-shirt texture applied.
I now find myself more than 32 days behind in responding to ebots on your posted images, I am sorry. Perhaps I should quit my day job (lol), then I would have more time to respond.

Not an easy thing to capture - the magic of cherry blossoms falling like snow and I think you have done a tremendous job in D|S in conveying the feeling. Excellent

I think you did an excellent job. Reminds me of when we lived near Washington DC and had one of these trees in our front yard, was always so pretty! The POV is great and very well done. If your looking for critique the only thing I can think of is a slight increase in her smile. But thats all, as I think you did a wonderful job especially with the petals falling.

Very beautiful spring time image.. Our cherry blossom's haven't been in bloom for too awfully long and are beautiful!! I have read some about the tradition's you speak of and imagine it's a beautiful sight..

I love this image. You are being to touch on yourself!! I love the cherry blossoms and petals on the ground. What might work better to give this image more depth would be whatever lighting your using dim it down a little bit. When you do that it creates more shadow and mood. There is also some terrific grass items that are free at RDNA. Just a suggestion. Please enjoy yourself that what art is supposed to do!!....Shannon ;}
