Description

This photo was taken in Egton Bridge, North Yorkshire UK and features the Wellingtonia tree(Sequoiadendron giganteum) which is the most impressive tree I've ever seen. Same family obviously as the American giant redwood. A local told us that these trees were planted in this area around the year 1800. If you look to the right of the tree you will see part of a house which gives you some impression of the size of these trees. Nature always surprises and is always awesome. I hope you like. Cheers.
