Description

Another scene inspired by the 3drender.com lighting challenge. Dragon model from Stanford 3d model repository. Translucent wax adapted from the material in the Vue 6 collection. Flames are multilayers over illuminated (>100%) materials. Smoke is an alpha plane with a bitmap driven variable transparency (not perfectly blended). Standard glowing ashes mat for the burning incense. Environnement lighting model. 4 hours render time in superior mode (1600 * 1200)

Very, very good. Great theme (under-appreciated here and elsewhere on the internet, IMO). The lighting and embers/smoke effects are superb; the only flaw I can see are the candle holders (one of which is asymmetrical), which seem too small to support the candles. Brilliant photo-realism!
