Description

KZ could hear the heavy pounding of steel clad armored feet on the deck plates as there persuires approached. "I fear," Said her drow companion in her soft voice, "My powers were weakened by the soul purging... It will take time for them to recharge..." Whatever KZ's reaction might have been it was lost behind the expressionless mask of her helmet that stared back at the Drow with it's glowing blue optics. Unsnapping her side-arm's holster, KZ removed the weapon and tossed it to the elf, before turning to check the magazine in her rifle. "Well hon," She said dryly, "now you got something to fight with..." "Unfortionatly," Said Lyona as she examened the pistol in her slim hand, "Projectile weapons are not my specialty..." "It's real easy," Remarked KZ, slamming the stock of her rifle to her armored shoulder, "Just point and squeeze..." Togeather the armored Marine and the Drow turned to face there approaching enemys side by side. "I fear," Remarked Lyona softly, "Our chances for survival are not promising..." "Welcome 'ta my world hon," Answered KZ, and then the enemy was upon them...... NOTES: MY humble thanks to silverspirit for the magnificant gift of Lyona, this render does not do her justice but she is a wonderfull character for V4, thankyou agains. ^^

Love the story and the characters and now you have to let us know what happens next. I like the creativity I don't think I recall ever seeing a drow in a sci fi setting.
