Haweswater - Lake District - UK
Spring has arrived in the UK.
This is Haweswater in the lake district area of the UK.Or I should say this is part of Haweswater,the lake is several miles long.The entire village of Mardale is submerged below the water and some of it can be seen when the water level is low.
Not one of the most publicised of the lakes but for any of you who have the opportunity to visit then make the trip.
Beautiful walks to be had around the lake and plenty of photo opportunities.
Get there early as there is only limited parking at Mardale Head

Eddie, I've been here a couple of times hoping to see the golden eagles (without any luck!) but have never seen it as beautiful as this. Like you say - you have to get there early! Stunning vista, thanks for sharing.
