Description

Hello All!! I know I havnt been around for a while so thought I would put one up today ..., ( my teen is out of the house today and off the computer lol) anyways, this past week a whole bunch of people have asked why I havnt put anything up lately or been around so I guess I need to post an image ...( missing you all!! ...I am not going to homeschool again next year so I will be looking forward to my free time again in upcoming months.. Here is a young male timber wolf or grey wolf almost a year old I ran into at the park. His loving owner who I had the chance to talk with for a while trains animals for the movies and infact this guy has been in a few westerns. The Grandfather of this guy here was the one in Dances with the wolves with Kevin Costner I was told! Handheld about a foot away nervously (lol) with my Canon rebel xt. SO yes, missing you all just wanted to check in and tell ya I am alive and missing this site bigtime!! I think about so many of you always dear to my heart !! Love to all!! ((( BIG HUGS! ))) ~ Kimmers !! :O) !!

Wonderful and sharp, really shows the fur texture and of course the smiling face and eyes. I think I'd be nervous and get lots of camera shake on this one, great steady hands!

this brings back memories of a dog I had that died. he was a spitting image of this wolf. when people would see him"King" they would ask if he was a wolf. he was only part and was much larger than wolfs. I think he was mostly malamute .he was gentle as a lab and very sweet dog. did not bark at any thing except cats and that is natural.exceptional capture and I am happy you could post

Wolves are related to dogs, jackals, and coyotes. Wolves are mammals just like you and me. The gray wolf (Canis lupes), also called a timber wolf, is the largest of all wolves. Wolves are pack hunting animals. They are also very social with the rest of the pack. Wolves are the ancestors of dogs. Wolves are also very smart. They have developed many attack formations. Wolves are native to many parts in the world, and are capable of adapting to many different kinds of weather. Wolves are like giant German Sheppard dogs with a bushy tail and longer legs. The color of most wolf fur is gray or black sometimes red. Wolves are very good hunters, because they can hear and smell things a mile away. WELCOME BACCCCCCCCCKKKKKK Kimarieeeeeeee!!! wonderful shot of that handsome! And the clarity is totally amazing, specially the sharpness tho! Hehehe.. Now love to see what you took of new shots with your REBEL XT honey! Thank you for the post and have a lovely day JOE wolf18.gif

Home schooling is not as easy at it appears?!!! That's a tough job you took on Kimmers!! Nice to see you back, even for a moment, with a wonderful image of these strong but gentle animals! Wolves sure know the family structure, and obey it to the law! excellent shot, and welcome back!!!!! ;-)

What a gorgeous wolf! I suspect he is a strong male. He's not attempting to avert his eyes at all. And you, the brave soul! Not because of the wolf, but because you are home schooling! My hat's off to you for that!

Excellent clarity and POV in this capture of the wolf! Missed you badly, glad you're back, and remember, unless it's an emergency, you always have first run on the computer. Incidentally, I thought of you when I drove past the Echo Park off ramp while driving on the 2 Freeway last Sunday.
