Beautiful picture! We have thousands of crows where I live. They have an amazing range of sounds for communicating with each other. They are extremely intelligent. One of my neighbors calls them dumpster chickens, but what does she know?

His beak seems long enough to call it a raven?? I know they're cousins and you can only tell them apart by the beak... cool shot!!

It has relevance to my study of "black noise." When the black matrix picture tubes began to use a metal grid to implement true black they excluded all other colors for a fine matix of positions. In glass, black is a dark olive. Crows usually modulate black with a shine. On the dark side of the crow they look like a hole. Yet there is the possibility of revelation of the feather edges and hair fine detail with sufficient "recognition differential" in a digitial image. Art is when that is not intended.
