Description
I caught this magpie in flight today and thought it was pretty. We have thousands of magpies around here and I never noticed how pretty their wings are. I hope everyone likes this one Lizzi

Yes, and they are very smart birds. Two of them - we call them Elster - are close friends of mine. Every now and then they get some supplement food from stupid me. I know what bird-people say: Dont make friendship with a magpie, because you will never ever again get rid of them - LOL - and this is true! I pull my virtual jelly bag cap and write: Beware of suspicious looking birds!!!

we have maggies at work that we feed, the male is big and bold and will sit on your lunchbox while you feed him and he lets his baby near us too..think they get a bad rap sometimes..sometimes nice shot
