Description
Thanks for the visit. Models entirely built from the terrain editor with Illustrator's help on the 2D part. Though I get some constructive comments from the critical crowds......

Very nice models ,superb ground texture. Green sky !(Burps ...) :-) (just my own opinion). Nice works !

Very Cool!

Because the beams are columnar and their thickness varies, I would attempt to alter the blue tone through the column to create that effect of change in thickness. Best two parts of the picture: slant of the ground, and the sky. The green sky is absolutely, positively fantastic! Good to see you posting here again, Z. Onward and upward... :)

Absolutely great terrain work here! And amazing sky!! Is it completely Bryce? (The Sky I mean!) The ground terrain work is terriffic too! One suggestion...if you had put in small poser figures and a moon lander kind of vehicle (very tiny) at the base of one of this beam thing...it would have given an idea of scale (let's say you wanted to make this tremendous!) also I would place an elongated spherical light parallel and congruent to the beams. For such an intense light will of course cast some blue light on nearby surfaces! It might make more sense doing the beam as post work in PS, using volumetric material (one would need to use co-axial cylinders of material of various density to get the right laser like beam) is just not worth considering the render time it hogs up! Also some vague distant structures waaaaaay back in the background would add to the sense of depth and also place the technology withing a greater framework which the viewer's imagination could then further build upon. That way its not just depicting a technical piece but a whole story unfolds! Hope this is of use!
