My system took over one hour to create this image, so please tell me what you thik of it.
(i made it on a AMD athlon 1100 with a geforce 2 MX 400 32MB)

I've made a texture lately wich looks almost the same as your energy texture, but that one takes only 5 minutes to render. But then again, I've got a very fast system (AMD Athlon palomino 1800+).
