Description

MOON 20Days old MEADE Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescopio 8" - F2000 f/10 (reduced to f/6.3 ) + Nikon Coolpix3200 My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun; Coral is far more red than her lips' red; If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun; If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head. I have seen roses damask'd, red and white, But no such roses see I in her cheeks; And in some perfumes is there more delight Than in the breath that from my mistress reeks. I love to hear her speak, yet well I know That music hath a far more pleasing sound; I grant I never saw a goddess go; My mistress, when she walks, treads on the ground. And yet, by heaven, I think my love as rare As any she belied with false compare. William Shakespeare Sonnet 130

Another fantastic shot Proximo! Excellent focus - beautiful capture. It seems the heavens are yours for the capturing......so....with that said..... I have a request....or perhaps a challenge :-) Thor's Helmet (NGC 2359). You should have a decent shot at for another month or so. I tried it once with film - turned out horribly ;). So if you have the opportunity, I (as I'm very sure everyone else here) will thoroughly enjoy your effort. As usual, Thanks for sharing.

@: brevis Hey! Thank you so much ,you're very kind. I never try to get pictures about NGC 2359 with my telescope, and now, Canis major is near the horizon and falls before the sky turn to dark. I'll be glad to try to get this challenge, next year. I got one shot of Thor's Helmet last year with the guys of the tuscany astronomic association. We got the shot with the 12"reflector of the observatory and by a SBIG ST 2000 we got a nice picture.
