Now look at me Instead of moving on, I refuse to see That I keep coming back And I'm stuck in a moment That wasn't meant to last I've tried to fight it Can't deny it You don't even know That I still need you I still care about you Though everything's been said and done I still feel you Like I'm right beside you But still no word from you This is sort of a sequel to this image: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1367182&member My character Dion, in a scene from the same story I mentioned in the other image. You'll have to guess why he's looking all sad and depressed, standing in the rain like that. Or you can wait until the book's published, but either way I won't tell you ;) The lyrics (from one of The Backstreet Boy's songs) hint at it... Now although you might think that rain is just a bunch of easy-to-do lines and squiggles and drips of water, it actually took me hours to do. I had to do each drop by hand, and the rain was almost just as hard. Getting his hair to look wet was hard, plus I had to completely re-texture the wall next to him too. It doesn't look much like the original render anymore :P But I'm very pleased with the outcome. I was ready to give up, but I'm glad I didn't. Also, I think I do too many full-body images. I've been looking through other people's galleries (on DeviantArt, not here) and I realised a lot of them were only half-body or bust portraits. I figured I should do more images like that. So here it is ^_^ I'm beginning to run out of backgrounds to use in my images... Thanks for looking!

I know how Dion feels...and the lyrics hit me hard this week: A girl I thought was ready to become my girlfriend has suddenly backed away. I used to hear from her several times a week, but it's been practically nothing for the last three. From kissing, to killing pain... :/ Anyway, you did a great job on the raindrops! I'll e-mail you some thumbnails of photos I have, to see if you like any of them to use for backgrounds. Or would that be too detailed? Blur them?
