Description

A bit of Terragen too.. I pretty much scrapped my other city projects because this is the scale I wanted to work with. City mostly created with my instant city. Highway was custom. Beach done in Terragen and Bryce. Grass painted. Touched up in Photoshop. It's still not done. This will eventually have roads connecting the Highway to the city in at least 2 places and cars on highway...open gray spaces will be something..colored buildings were texture tests to see what looks real...how many cranes do you see?

While I appreciate the scale, it feels way too colorful to me. Some of the textures you're using feel more like night coloring, rather than the look a city has in bright sunlight. Maybe if you used all cooler textures with the suggestion of dark windows for the surfaces of the buildings? I do like the helicopter way off in the BG.
