Don't go near any pit bull raised in this manner...they are there for one thing only, and I would say MYOB,but that is hard to do when children are involved...and if you suspect anything amiss it is your duty to get the cops invoved....oh,shoudn't be afraid to post commentary style photo subjects!

Well, it probably falls under "World Events/Social Commentary"; it is a clear commentary on where people who become messed-up adults come from. Even if these children grow up to be relatively productive people, they will be missing many essential human qualities and knowledge most of us grow up with in normal families. You feel concerned because you are a parent, and those of us who are cannot ignore children, or their circumstances.

You know my thoughts on this from the first time you posted it. I have read it again, and it still rips my heart out. I wish there was something we could do for that little girl and her brother. I just can't stop thinking about the two of them. A sad story indeed, and you have captured it well.

You know my thoughts too, dear Randee. I repeat. The parents may have choice in how they live, the childen have this life forced upon them. It breaks me to read this sad sory. I know it will you too. Randee we care. I am so sorry for what is happening here. I know that I cannot alter it, would that I could.. I hope, I pray that all will work out for these childen. Take care. Hugs. Diane.

It a sad story. I heard of sadder ones. but this one you see with your own eyes so it is tougher then. You may get the child protective people to look into the case. May not be nothing happen if they do; I saw that too but at lest you tried and hope the people do not find out you the one that turn them in. If you saw them mistreat the dog you can turn them in to the animal people too. And ask them to church they may go and change they lives.

Maybe a good fairy will visit her Easter and take her somewhere nice:) As for the pit bull and these conditions I too would condsider him dangerous... Looks like even in the country their should be protection Hope you have a wonderful Easter Hugs Susan~

how did you know where I live? no it is not my house but just trying to insert some bad humor. often people like this has plans to fix, repair and sell things but lack of money and time prevents it. many of the thing are futile to even think about repairing but after a while they loose sight of common sense and pile on more junk. years ago two sisters in their 80's-90's with a house worth several 100,000 dollars stayed in their car at night because of a hole in their roof. many neighbors offered to buy the house and it would provide care for them for many years, but they refused. finally one died and the other had to be put in a extended care facility

Just an update...I called CPS and they investigated the family. I got a notice that they found nothing amiss.... Hmmmm. The Pit Bull has been upgraded at least. They now own a St. Bernard. A more docile and acceptable breed, anyway. They seemed to have picked up a little bit, but now they have a trampoline set up and it is dangerously close to alot of hard sharp things. I hate to pass it every day. I can't do anything else.

Buy her a doll and bake some cookies and wrap them up with a big red bow. When you see her at the bus stop go over to her and give her the doll and the cookies for her brother. Don't forget a giant hug. I was abused as a child and across the steet was a very nice lady. All the kids called her "The Cookie Lady." When I was 24 yrs old my mother committed suicide. Two years later my father married "The Cookie Lady!" I always wished she was my mom or that my mom could be like her. Don't forget the baloons!! Love ya Randee!!
