Description

Ultrafractal 3.05 - Photoshop 7 Here's another more fractal one I've hung onto for a good while. Made during my "brown period". I got off (still do) on Gilles Nadeau's great fractals that were almost always in shades of brown and worked in that vein for a good while. The guy is a true artist in the finest sense of the word. Of course, it sorta played into my hand some because my biggest problem in using UF is in coloring - saved me from having to worry about "should this green be darker?" or "should this part be green at all and does it clash with the purple???" lol. Made this guy with Susan Chambless' great "Embrangle" formula in sdc.ufm. The spirals you get are maybe not so varied but they DO have a distinctive air that is readily recognizable and different from any other .ufm's I've used. And, my much used "fbm Popcorn Traps" in mt.ucl with a few layers of Thingamajigs II from tma.ucl and Sine-mod II from djk.ucl thrown into the mix for good measure. Thanks for stopping by and for all of your wonderful support that has kept me going when I might have easily just moved on to some other, less rewarding pursuit. Of course it has "rewarded" me with this spare tire around my belly from sitting in front of a pc so much! lol (Starting to get a "handle" on that - pun intended - which is why I'm a little scarce lately. "Roadwork" and iron - 20lbs down and only 35 to go!) c-ya! Rick ***(Fine art giclee' prints of most of my work are available in limited edition on archival paper or canvas - e-mail: drahcir3@hotmail.com and get busy filling that empty spot on the wall! Unique, "one-of-a-kind" (edition size = 1) prints are also available*** :-)

I agree with you, colouring is the biggest problem using UF. But I think you got a wonderful result ;O) This reminds me an octopus just peeping what's happening up there .... LOL. Splendid work!

I don't understand a thing you said about the formulas, etc. in UF, but I DO know that this is an outstanding fractal, as usual. You never fail to amaze.
