I got hooked creating fractals in April, 2004. I started with some of the free programs that are out there and eventually bought Ultra Fractal. I went from a curiosity to an obsession in just 2 short months. I have started my own website at http://www.crazywitko.com Stop by and see some of my other ambitions! I am also a photographer and have been taking pictures since the winter of 2006.

i like your POV. but lets be honest, for using a D50 the quality is shocking and the background too messy, i feel a tighter crop wold help the compo and interest. That how ever wouldn't fix the quality - remember to always shoot on high quality JPEG or RAW. RAW isn't that scary take a few practive shots around the home and fiddle with learning the controls on those so you know you won't 'damage' good shots. the beauty of raw however is the fact that the original file alwas stays as it is.

Sounds like somebody needs a nap. This is a very good shot, especially for someone who normally doesn't post photography! I'm impressed with what you've done so far with the camera. Nice work! I hope you'll continue to share your photos with us!

Thanks for all the feedback....and I appreciate PeeWees comments too, and tend to agree about the background being cluttered. But as far as shooting in RAW format...it doesn't scare me, as I almost always shoot in RAW. I understand the benefits of shooting in RAW, and am still learning about the post processing of RAW files.
