this is a charming shot. the tone and colours in the shot are wonderful. ad the tecture of the open book's pages is charming. the focus however is lacking - i can't help but let the image confuse me beause i can't figure out if the focus is supposed to be on the pages it's on or the glass decanter...

Excellent still-life! The lighting and composition cannot be improved upon. As for the focal poin, I find there is no problem. At debate might be the hot spot on the decater wht can be toned down with a little overlay of grey, otherwise this image is a visual treasure. Thank you for sharing. egmont
