I have been playing around with Vue recently and this is another picture i've made what do you guy's think
for those interested the poly count was 1,174,950,315 with a render time of about 15 mins

Fantastic render! Well done! Bravo! Gets my 5 votes! Also, aren't these units equipped with their own GPS so that they can automatically align themselves to perfection? Just kidding. Love the pic.

Okay, you may get an unbelievable 1 billion+ polygons in your scene, but I can't believe that you could render that in only 15 min. Also, it is likewise unrealistic to have a factory or warehouse full of R2-D2's. Perhaps there could be a factory of just R2's, though.

I think the render time was because the R2 units were placed using an eco system like when you render a scene with millions of plants, the scene only consists of 6 objects! my first attempt using duplicates with only about 3 rows of units took almost 40 mins

Cool image. I like it. Here's a thought for Drama, If having a warehouse full of R2D2s is unrealistic just how realistic is it having just one? Considering R2d2 is just a sci fi Character.
