Description

Nikon 7900 image. In my part of the world (Northeast Texas), the daytime temperatures have changed drastically over the last several days. We have gone from low 80F to mid 40F. This has slowed the butterflys down considerable and provided me with some great capture opportunities. I noticed this Spicebush Swallowtail as I was going to check my mail. He was perched on a bare branch and seemed pretty reluctant to move very far. In fact, he was even willing to climb onto my hand when I offered it. I managed to get several pretty good shots before he had warmed enough to move on. THanks to all who have commented on my previous postings. I appreciate the gesture. Lee
