Description

Hmm, it seems the new Stephanie Echo character that's emerging from some of my recent renders has a bit of an attitude problem. She goes looking for trouble, and she sure found it here...! I'm still flip-flopping between Bryce and DAZ Studio...and leaning toward DS for close-in or "enclosed" scenes. Figuring out how best to use lights in DS is still giving me fits, but I feel like I'm 'in the ballpark' with this one.... EDIT: Given the variety of monitor gamma settings, I think the original version could easily have appeared too dark for some folks to see clearly. So I tweaked the lighting a bit, and while I was at it also reframed the image in a wider aspect ratio. I'm liking DS' potential enough to work in it more often, so I bought Dreamlight's 'Studio Light Pro' while it's on sale at DAZ. I'm gonna see what I can do with it using this pic for testing. If I don't totally screw it up I'll post the results for your amusement....

Way too dark on my screen but in closeup I can see all the details. I think the character looks excellent and great pose. Super nasty and cool dogs on the attack. Well done!! PS-if you are using a LCD monitor, they are set much brighter than normal. CRTs are much more accurate in color and brightness. LCDs are getting better though so maybe a new one is in order? I bought a monitor made especially to view and create graphics...makes a big difference.
