Description
This is my friend Isabel. Her Mom is letting her raise chickens this Spring, and she's very happy about it! (Can you tell?) :)
She has named them all (I believe there are nine), and is very responsible about changing their food and water and making sure they're all doing okay.
I have taken photographs that were technically more excellent than these (!) but sometimes the overall art is more important than the details.
Edit note: They're being raised to produce free-range, organic eggs. None of them will become dinner!

Can you say West Nile Virus? I'm so bad :) Actually, read that last Easter 3 children died from having bought store bought chicks. Forgot why but it did happen. Keep an eye on her for any weird rashes, ok? Sorry I haven't answered you letter dearest. I had 65 ebots in my box from just two days and I'm trying to catch up...argh :(
