Welcome Friends
I am so glad you stopped in to visit.
My name is Kimberly Stevens, aka Kimberly.3D or BrightSoul.
I am an artist, 2D and 3D and I am having fun just working on new models all the time and web design.
I have my own site at www.kimberly3d.com/index.htm however it is a pleasure to be a member at Renderosity and create a home page here!
I think Renderosity has helped me come further in my art than I would have on my own and this is much appreciated.

Very nice!

This is a nice , moody pic. It could maybe use a liitle more front lighting to fetch out the details of the hair. In all honesty... i'd loose the frame it draws the viewer's eye away from the pic so that the first reaction you have is... 'Nice frame, oh there's a pic there too.'

Regarding the hair, I am sure that if you contact Anton he would be happy to help figure out what the trouble is. To me, it looks like the hair has some strange settings e.g. the Transparency* values for some of the material groups are not completely transparent, or maybe Ambient Occlusion is set for the hair itself (that doesn't usually work well). The way you used James is great, and you got him to not look like James but still be handsome :) His expression is a little intimidating though, I don't know if you intended that. There's a few polygon lines at his shirt collar (render with smoothing or bend em in postwork). I agree that the frame is a little obtrusive, it's nice in its composition but you might scale it back to half or 1/3 of current size. Nice little halo around his head :)

Yup, what pjz99 said. He looks great, and looks like he's gonna throttle whoever he's looking at. :)

Nice image, all issues have been mentioned I think

Interesting mixture. He looks an angel but he has a devilish look in his eyes. I like it. The textures/colors seem a bit washed out but maybe that was your intention. I agree with lemur01, the frame is "too nice". I think that such nice frames are only to be used when the picture is not so good... :-)

He's very cute! dispite your issue with his hair I think it came out well. The only thing that looks a little off to me is his complextion which seems to be different in the face and neck even with the light relfection. I still love this image though! ;0) Heztia
