Me.BIOI used to be a medical technologist (member of the A.S.C.P. and all that) -- my background was mostly in hematology, immunology and clinical chemistry. While working at American Red Cross (merging all three of those together) I went to Loyola of Los Angeles law school. Now I'm an attorney in private practice (although I still keep my medical technologist's license current and I still do research from time to time).
I am allergic to cats and live with 16 of them - most of whom are handicapped (maimed by people or cars ... in one case just plain mad as a hatter). And two dogs too. So, a lot of my photos and other artwork are of them.
I've had no artistic training, none in photography either. I'm just a wannabe when it comes to art, but I'm working hard to improve and I have hope of attending art school someday.

I love the photo. Reminds me of a cat I once knew called Noche. We currently have nine, but in the past ten years or so I have known more than a hundred that have passed through our house and yard. Feral cats are hard to tame. We have several that will not come to you or allow you to pick them up, but we still love them. You have to get to them early and handle them as tiny kittens.
