Realization
Suddenly flashed
Information was necessary
Everything turned around
Souls awakening
Gonna tell ya
Though
Some words...
Come to mind
When it hurts
Unknown territory
How is it possible?
Mountain breeze
Grassy green terrain
Birds singing
Butterflies trembling
Ducks splashing water
Laughter filled eyes
Gazing on the edge
Of the mountain
Stream flowing
Forget that learning
To enjoy life
Is the purpose?
Of healing

Es Muy Verdad. Sometimes I tell folks; 'The Truth Hurts', but in a great way it exposes the raw nerves that can begin to heal. Kind of like most people don't like the rain, because it messes up their outdoor activities, but the rain brings purification, nutrients, LIFE!!! I think your words have had their rain, because they are purification to your body, nutrients to your mind and Life to your soul!!!!

Excellent work. This is a wonderfully written poem. And if it's autobiographical, then let me congratulate you on your Good Work, as well! It's easy to forget, when struggling through the dark, that there is a reason to do it aside from the process itself. There really is light at the end of the tunnel, and it's totally worth the trouble! :)

Linda, another insightful poem. You just overflow with them. A gift I believe. What you write is really something for all. We go through many changes and much growth throughout our lives. What applies to you today, may apply to me tomorrow, or the other way around. For this reason, your words are wisdom for me to digest, and grow with. As long as we are here, we experience, we learn, we grow, and then, depending on one's belief, we may do it all over again, but with a little more ease and grace.
