The szenery is great. I like the ruin and the grass a lot. The horse with it's armor is great. The armor and the cloth on the woman are great, but D.P. Hoardley is probably right about the displacement. I have a slight problem with his expression. The knight looks a bit unfriendly and arrogant, is that intended? Great picture, though.

Excellent scene, though I see one thing that throws it off a little bit. Her hair is moving back, like in a breeze, and the dress is stationary.

Very nice theme, good idea, and lots of hard work here. The base of the ruin, surely having been here a long time, would be irregular and not perfectly straight (wavy ground from decades of weathering, if you know what I mean, the ground cover weedy, as well). The surface of the ruin would be stained, maybe burned, and possibly chipped, which would let the horse blend in much better as well. I hope you don't mind these nitpicky observations. I should do so well :-)

Since all the crits I had were mentioned, I'll simply reiterate what dphoadley said. Plug the textures into the bump channel. If you've seen my lastest try at my portrait of Camilla, I plugged the shirt tex into the bump change and now it looks like it should. Surprising what a simple bump map can achieve. :)

I really like the concept of this image and nice characters too. Love the horses armour! One thing, the leaves on the background image seem very large in contrast to the characters. I don't know if anything can be done about it but it does seem a little out of proportion. Nice going though!
