You have a beautiful subject matter here, but it is also important to make sure that there is enough light as there was in the previous image of yours. Here we have simply too much dark area and I feel it needs one more element, especially in the front to tie together the bottle and the books. Since you are using natural light and that in itself is ever changing, you will need to use reflectors to help fill in those darker areas. One item most will miss from seeing and something I treasure, is the reflection on the bottle of the window with the lace curtain. I hope you will try again. Thank you for sharing. egmont

You have captured the mood of what is present in your mother's home and the ambient light is perfectly preserved in this series. You have an excellent eye for composition, and the technical skill to retain the detail even in a low light situation. My only critique is your reflection which could have been eliminated with a dark sweater draped over your head, but it adds the personal touch much like Alfred Hitchcock's appearance in his movies. WELL DONE!!
