Reflected light from the morning buildings spilled onto the shaded promenade, as Neon came out of the dressing room with her new skin. Jin had just finished putting on her new eye-patch and bandanna and stopped, stunned as she caught sight of Neon. Neon broke up laughing and shouted, laughing, "Oh my GOD! Jin, you look like a SPACE PIRATE from one of the old vids!" Jin smirked and said with a smile, "And YOU look like an office worker from last century that fell into an ink vat! You look really cute! I had no idea you were such a hottie, Neon! I guess if you have to hide the rainbow colors of your skin, you might as well wear a psychedelic shirt!" Neon smiled as Jin sidled up to her and started playing with Neon's tie. Neon said, "We have to make an effort to not stand out to much if we want to lurk around on City 64 long enough to find Toxic." Jin sighed, "You think we have a chance?" 399 tapped jin on the back, and said,"I think we have a chance." Neon snorted out a chuckle, as Jin gave an "EEP" sound looking at 399. 399 laughed and Jin gave him a shove. "You sneaky bastard! Where'd you get that armor?" "Downstairs in that storage locker. One of Kruag's Scavs must have died in the Hospital some years back. He doesn't need it any more, I do. Just call me VORN! The mysterious Scav from Shalmiraine! OooooOOOOOooooooooEEEEEEoooo!" 399 laughed and made more funny noises to the girls delighted laughter. Vorn (or 399 as he was known to most) said, "The Aero-Grand -Prix is open to the whole planet's inhabitants, INCLUDING Kruag's Scavs. There was one hell of a fit to include them. There were a bunch of adventurous types on city 64 last year from Shalmiraine. I should pass without close inspection. I know Flying City 64's security systems. If we get up there without Captain Dokka's aid, I can get us in." Jin looked around, "Where's Martya and the other Scav girl?" Vorn laughed. Vorn jerked a thumb at a dressing room down the hall and snorted, "Being typical women. Fighting over an outfit." Neon and Jin looked coolly at him and he pointed at the stairs up to the shuttle pad. "I'll ....ehrrrrrr...wait for you folks upstairs." He hurried off, feeling like he was in the dog-house. Neon and Jin laughed as soon as he was out of earshot. Jin snorted, "Men! They never get it!"
