Just read the brillant Gregory Maguire book, Wicked..the real story of the wicked witch of the west from the wizard of oz, an excellent book which inspired me for this picture.
Elphaba is the witches real name and this is how i think she looked whilst young and in love. what do you think?

Beautiful Job. I was actually just working on a scene from Wicked to go with a Broadway series that I'm putting together. But alas it's on the back burner for awhile. Once again. Terrific job. Great book for inspiration. Now we'll have to read Son of a Witch. R

Elphaba is L. Frank Baum L-fa-Ba. Nice pic -certainly a more atractive than described in the book!
