Description

This was taken on the road between Kona and Waimea, facing east, toward Mauna Kea, which we never did see. For anyone familiar with the big island, it's not far from the end of the saddle road. I did level adjustment on this, but no color changes. It really looked like this. Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

I know this place well...a great place for sunrise and sunsets~ And I can attest to what you say about the colors here Dennis, true to life. Mauna Kea is hard to see here as it often is from this vantage point. But what a great sunset you caught here...well worth the trip over the dangerous saddle road. Aloha~
