even without looking at the author's name I recognized your unique approach to the things left unnoticed to 99.99% of us.

Good morning Egmont! This is an image that must be viewed at full size everyone. The natural colors and soft light really make this a pleasure to view, while your catty-corner composition (with extra triangle at the bottom right) really makes the composition sing. Lovely nuances and small details and thank you for again getting us to look twice at something we might not have even noticed at all.

An extremely appealing image Egmont, very evocative of times gone by both with the subtle colouring and the subject matter, and the framing is delightful.

This is really brillant. Very good eye for a shot. I could see this on a wall. Well done. Great subject.

Lovely, beautifully wrought image. Are you the creator of a cranberry salsa recipe that I copied off this site a while ago? I made it for Christmas and it was a big hit. If not, thanks to whoever it was.

Yes, Joanna (Jophoto) I am the same person who created the Thanksgiving Day Cranberry Salsa. I am glad that you liked it. Thank you for letting me know. egmont

I love this. It takes me back to my fathers garage. He turns 90 in May and I will go back home for his birthday party. You've giving me inspiration on photos to take. Thank you for sharing this.

Thanks for the email - I wouldn't have realised that they were uploaded in reverse order if you hadn't told me although, I'd deleted the mail thinking it was junk (as I didn't recognise the name!)luckily I checked through the deleted folder before finally deleting it!! - you see what goodies are found in the junk if you look hard enough, and you have certainly done that here in this series of photos. Great shots, fantastic light and composition. xx

Fantastic photo, absolutely gorgeous composition and light. The dusty/rusty pipe fittings are revealed in such an interesting jumble. I love your work and I am glad I discovered your gallery!
