Description

One of my main inspirations to 1. go out and take these shots at the end of the beach and 2. (as i have mentioned in the past) actually get further into photography in the first place was this shot by Steve/tommorules: thumb_1129435.jpg With such a simple premise the shot showed me how something quite mundane can actually be beautiful. This is my version of that shot i saw over a year ago, with a St Andrews flavour (the wind/sand) ;) Enjoy! Rich

I can see why and where you got the inspiration from and I think you have captured the essence of simplicity with such ease. I love the impression of the motion the waves have left upon the sand and the deep rich blue sky with those clouds almost suspended in animation - this is brilliant, superb, fantastic - WOW!!! Great shot, simplistic beauty well captured. xx

Hello Rich, sorry it has taken me a while to get around to looking at this, first chance I've had to catch up on my favourite artists posts for several days.... I'm glad I was able to provide some inspiration!! Looks like a wonderful place, there's not much that can beat this sort of isolation in IMHO. Just got to keep the sand out of your kit... Keep up the great work! Steve.
