Description
Ceiling of the main hall in Palazzo Barberini, Rome. Camera on the floor, in a hurry because photos were not allowed and the attendant was chasing me. The three bees at the center are the symbol of the Barberini family.

Boy, I've been at the head of THAT parade before. They sure can get excited when you take a picture, huh? It's that way at so many historical buildings and although I agree that flashes should be banned for safety and comfort, I don't understand why flashless shots shouldn't be allowed. Of course, I do not wish to argue this point as I pay my fine for breaking their rules... :-) Great shot as on the run.

thanks for sharing this magnificent capture and art work.I parked the other day in a restricted area where there is video surveillance to take the picture I posted yesterday and before I could leave there was a police helicopter flying toward me. I jumped in my FJ and made tracks leaving
