Description

Shot taken yesterday. I adore these little flowers, they are Bluebells. They grow in wild carpets in the fields and meadows in Bay. I would not dream of cutting them, ever. Wildflowers should always be left where they grow, so others can feel the pleasure I feel when seeing them in the wild. These are cultivated bluebells. I bought at my local florist. I hope you like them as much as I do. My thanks to dear Goha for her help with this work. Happy eventime. Hugs. Diane.

I spy - I see you!!! LOL! Great shot with beautiful blues and hints of purples. I too love bluebells, reminds me of when I was a little girl going for walks down our local woods - they used to grow everywhere and (yes I'm guilty of it!) picking a few to take back for my elderly neighbour - I was only about seven or eight at the time though! This is simply adorable and presented in that adorable teapot to compliment the colours. Excellent shot. xx

I love the vibrant blue on the stark white. So interesting to see YOUR bluebells. They are just a little different from the ones I remember from childhood but maybe its just that those were more mature and drooping. :-) Great shot and a most artistic one.

OMG What memories you have bought to my mind with this image... Where I used to live as a little girl in the yard out back was a whole batch of bluebells...their blue was a little less brighter than this..but when I saw those and the flox and fosrythia bloom I knew spring couldn't be far behind.. My mother got me into flowers...and not a day goes by I don't think about her and this got me teary-eyed thinking of her and her love for these flowers also... Love this and def a fav..I can't believe a florist in your area has these on hands...all our florist have are tulips, daisy, you know the general for a florist to carry in a spring boquet...I may see if my cousin could get these in her florist shop... Yes indeed life is okay...but I have a virus and not feeling too swift... Thank you for a trip down memory lane.. A fav Hugs Susan~

How pretty! I love them too and the teapot is a perfect container for them. I have always loved bluebells, Their delicate little bells always made me imagine fairies when I was a child. Spring flowers have not yet appeared here. Soon I hope. I have a little time to wait for my absolute favourite flowers though. Do lilacs grow near you?
