interesting shot. I might have put it in the abstract gallery tho ;) I like the use of the shallow dof to give a fairly featureless image a focal point in the minutest detail.

This is really neat! I like it a lot. If you make an abstract out of a flower, you'll get my attention every time! The best of two worlds.

Nice one Richard! And yes, its much easier to understand in a full view :) Hummm.. Why don't you try to invert your pic into a negative! I bet it will be so wonderful and it will bring out more details :D Thank you dear friend and hope to see you around JOE

That makes me think at fruity lips... As am I wrong ...? Could feat wonderfuly to illustrate an Epicure citation or something about pleasure, nirvana or love... ( even I'd personally give a more darker red in background than the red of the close up ) Nattarious suggests to try in W&B .... I get difficulty to imagine it,here Maybe because I am very sever (?) with W&B photographies now a day, cause there were so beauties in the past.... But not closed : I love W&B mode as well as colored shots Ok now, I stop my bla bla bla Please, continue to estonish us with your large artistic captures and work Hugs and good night, Rchard q:) Magali

I like what I see here! Love how you've done this with such a simple look to it... Something I've tried before but well yeah I have yet to succeed. Excellent photography buddy! Hope you're keeping well there.

I was tempted to say "cool" but it's rather "hot". Beautiful color and shapes and you have me guessing.
