Description
I loved the reflections I saw while on my walk today. I've taken pics of this point before, but from a different standpoint. I'm afraid this will probably be Bud's last 2 mile walk (my dog); I thought for sure I was going to have to carry him home the last mile. But ......... he made it. He's 11 years old .. lab/retriever mix. I know he's getting up there in years ........ sad to think about.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by; I hope you guys are doing great. Still lagging behind here in the gallerys .. but I've also been seeing some great shots and works of art. Keep up the great work.

Beautiful soft reflections - I love water shots, especially when they have such character. Great atmosphere and lovely composition. Sorry about Bud, it is sad to think about our old faithful's getting on in years - my Border Collie is thirteen and a half now - shudder at the thought of what I'll do when he finally decides he's had enough of this world!! Anyway, thoughts on the picture now - excellent shot, thanks for sharing. xx

Shari, I think this is a splendid shot in every way. A joy for me to look upon. The lighthouse draws me in! I am glad you had the walk with Bud's. The letting go is so hard. Hey, not for a while yet. Obviously that's a minature lighthouse (the bird next to was a dead give away). Great scene.

It is a great composition and a stark reminder of the tough winter you had. I love the crop on this and as far as Bud is concerned, sorry to hear about that.

Very cool capture indeed, fabulous reflections. I'm begining to sound a lot like bud myself, hmmmm let me see ......how old am I in dog years?? hmmmm. I like the crop and large amount of water, nice work for sure!!

the reflections are beautiful and looks like you still have lot's of ice and snow. yesterday it hailed baseball size hail in Amarillo and snowed last night there.we had tornados here in DFW and hail

Awesome shot here! Love the muted tones and your compo is excellent. What I find kinda strange but cool is the reflections of that black and white thingy LOL. Oh and sorry to hear about Bud. :'(
