Description

Only UF Ancient way of life, popular folk art, last picture of this series.... Modern times come along... Lost between the electric posts, the fuss and indifference of people. Everything goes so fast that all of us should stop for a while... go two or three steps back and start again... thinking what are we doing with our world? Thanks for your support and all the comments on this and all my previous works. Have a nice Sunday ;O) Elizabeth "Dancing around the fire" thumb_1422153.jpg Manscostyle

I love this design, the rugged, torn edges that might reflect our modern state of mind and the subtle texturing, like a memory of times past. Very fine work!

I love the depth and tactile appearance. The jumble of wires to me is a symbol of the chaos of the age we live in. I couldn't agree more with your thinking, Elizabeth. But, everything is driven by big business today and most people are dragged along by a need to survive. A first step could be to turn back to the mom & pop businesses and small businesses, production of quality, valuing customers with excellent service and friendliness. The more of these businesses the better, and the more people will be able to get out of the corporate masher and back to healthy normal lives. Yes, there will be sacrifices, but I think the reward will be much greater. Excellent expression of your thoughts through art and word. Hugs, Suzanne

The electric cables connecting two poastes electric distribution, are the first symptoms of human destruction of Nature. To make pass a high-tension line through a forest, like the man often made and the fact still, one irremediably destroys a surface of trees whose width corresponds to four times the width of the groups of cable of transport! One detruit 50 meters broad of forests over all the width of the forest to install a beam of 12 meters broad cables! Excellent picture with adapted colours !

Another absolute winner, I wish there where more to come! Some of the shapes you have created within your series have been incredible, very striking and original. They had a wonderful native american flavor, a rustic old time kind of taste. I have really enjoyed your series Elizabeth! [=

Well, we can't go back. Worse, we must go forward. The future is bleak in the extreme, but it probably always was so. goodwill is readily destructible. The picture has a feeling of parchment, of something speaking from the past as, indeed, is your message. We should be more cheery on a Sunday, perhaps?

Awesome, The perfect finish to the trilogy, both the art and the words. I agree with bodhi-creations. This series has touched my soul. I like what Claude said, I see the destruction of forests all in the name of getting those power lines through, and as Suzanne said, the ways Big Business has taken over at huge costs to humanity. Clifftoppler said it right, the future does look bleak. But there is hope for a better future, and it starts from within each of us.

Super series and I do like that parchment look. Yes it is up to us all to leave a small imprint on our earth instead of being greedy. Why they can't put all the cables underground beats me. Excellent work.
