Description
This is the last incarnation of a picture started a long time ago.
Flame is an alphaplane mixed with volumetric materials and lights.
"Flying particles" done with the snow material from Vue (resized + a little glow) applied on a metablob of three spheres around the fire.
All in V5I. No post-work for once.
Thanks for your visits and comments on my pictures.
Props from Cornucopia3D.

That's incredibly well done. I've seen alot of 3D fires, but this one has to one of, if not the, best!

Good job, interesting concept. However - your use of the of the metablobs and alpha planes is brillant - I have to do all that kind of stuff postwork.

Great lighting work. The only thing is the distribution of the glowing particles - I think they would appear only above the flame and spreading out in a kind of cone shape, rather than being to the side of the flame as well.

Nice work, the fire looks great! And I applaud for not using postwork here... the easy way leads to the dark side... or so ;-)
