Description

A post showed an object they rendered in 38 mins using HDRI, on what he admittedly claimed as his lo tech machine. In his post he stated that he turned every single control in the Sky Lab OFF. I had not done this previosly. (Although volumetric rendering is always off). So I did some more experimentation. Seems there is only one single control that has any effect on render time (other then volumetric), and that is Sun/Moon Shadows. If that left on, you will get horrendous render times. You will also get different results too

Then of that technical report and of the patience in the tests, only lack you to catch master's Bryce certificate. Congratulations for the time, patience and mainly for the information, they will be useful. PS: how is it going our project?

Thanks for the heads up. Studio type shots need the shadows unfortunately IMO so will have to just take the render time I suppose!!! Awesome models and experiment!!! Thanks again.
