Hi all,
Well here's one event that the city of Hamilton is proud to host each year, and I gotta say it's pretty awesome seeing you can go for free :D LOL This shot is a merge of six images, one for the balloons and five the fireworks. As you might guess the fireworks were all after the balloons had been packed away for safety. So I thought I'd take my many boring shots and try to make something a bit more special :P There were 3 feature balloons hiding in the middle there but the place where you could see them from was so crowded it was impossible to get a decent shot, SO this is what I got... Hope you enjoy it and thanks for the kind words on my recent images. Have a wonderful week out there people! #;0)

You are ahead of me with this method,brilliant. I have a job to do soon and need to do some evening merge work, should be fun especially as I get to do it using a tripod and not from the aircraft at 90 mph !

Very nicely done mate! i thought it was one shot - but then realised after you said about the safety aspect thing that it couldnt possibly be real. Nevertheless, wonderful shot and effect you achieved, i like how under the Waikato Security balloon there is a silhouette of a guy standing like a security guard, or is it my imagination? ;)
