Yesterday I posted my 100th image. It was an abstract, based on this photograph. Here's the original, as promised. A week or so ago I found a couple of magnolia bushes in full bloom. One white, one pink. I love these tulip magnolias, and got several shots I liked for various reasons, so I'm going to subject you to eight of them in a row. (Consider yourself warned!) :) I hope you'll find enough variety in this series to keep you amused. I didn't do anything to this one - not even a crop. I stuck my camera right up on the flower, and this is what I got. I love the shapes . . . the way the petals curve is quite pleasing to me. Every time I looked at this image I saw an abstract. (What I posted yesterday was rotated 90 degrees. This is the right way 'round.)
