it is true, so many people we often pass almost each day and never get past a passing glance. a kind word never exchanges our lips

I missed this one, SORRY!!!! Yes, life is to short for pettiness, Smile Today and receive many smiles in return! The World says what comes around, goes around, but that can be good. In India they call it Karma. In the Bible it is called Sowing and Reaping, but no matter what it is called it is true, we change the place we live by the kind acts and smiles we share Generously!!!

Poignant and it pricks my conscience. Excellent poem and message, Linda. It's short length increases the impact of the message. Hugs, my friend, Suzanne

Thought provoking work and well done! In college, we had to do an 'experiment'. We were instructed to walk by a classmate in the hallways and say, "My dad just died" and see how many stopped in shock or stopped at all? Sadly, NO ONE did. Not sure what that 'says'. My best, T.P.
