Description

Folks! I need your input/vote! There's disagreement around here on which one would sell best. It is to be grouped with the two shown below. Thanks for your help! echo

I like the first one best, but for grouping with the two below I too think the middle one would work best :) Superb artwork :)

I agree with Star4mation the first one.

Don't know which would sell best, BUT... I can say I find the center image most appealing: the yellow/green title is more eye-catching and I like that Byzantine mosaic. I think it expresses the mood of the opera best. All three are FIVE STAR quality, though.

The first one's title has more contrast.

Centre one is the nicest - however I'd go with the last one when grouped with the other two. Sorry to buck the trend ;) Still beautiful as ever.

I agree with Star4mation: I prefer the first one, but if you have to group it with the other two, choose the middle one. BTW, great work, as always.

have to say the red or maroon shaded version the first one,as I can see if it is going to be placed with the others at the bottom, just for a color change the second one might go better with the other two.Color is a mood enhancer certain colors reflect differt feelings like blue is cool, while red is warmth, But I think you know this,Iknow I have'nt been any help, sometimes your gut is the only way to go.Just wanted to say They all have possiblites. Beautiful work! Good Day Ron

Thanks for the invitation. I'd go with #1 (far left). Apart from some minor element differences, the title here is more legible (thus functional) than the other two with the green outline work. BTW: Beautiful work as always!!

you never know what sells best i think, but imo the middle one is best together with the others. as always very fine image.

I buck the trend for the right-hand one seems the best. It emphasises the figure, with the greens drawing the flesh tones out. It is the human figure which sells. There is one problem when considering its inclusion in the intended group. Two will face to the right and the other is an obvious candidate for the centre. this suggests a lack of symmetry and they might be visually be lop-sided. It reminds me of some of the work by Alphonse Mucha, but I like very much (I also like Mucha, of course).

The red hits me before the other two do... they are all beautiful, but the red captures my attention first :)

I agree with the "red" group, for dramatic effect.

Definitely the first one, I believe you would get the best effect if you choose these constant colors and make unique design.

the red title draws the eye more than the green. pity to lose the blue and white tiles in the middle one, but i have to chose one then it has to be the first one. all 3 are very fine.

The first one because the red. This is a very passionate piece and red is a passion color green not so much. You know how colors work, it pops and is not cooled down by the greens and blues. To quote Monk "You'll thank me later".

I agree and agree, I like the first one, but at first glance the middle one would group better. However, since the first one really stands out so well, I still choose the first!

I like the first one, or the left most. It's easier to read. Also, the text outline fits the skin tone pallette, so it seems more emotional.

Yes the one in the middle grouped with the two below would work best for me. P.S. Very nice work. You've just made my favourites list. :)

I really like #1, however, since this is to be a part of a triptych, I go with the middle image. The colors of the title and the border on either side of the woman would look more symmetrical if it is placed on the left. That is less stressful to my eyes, therefore more attractive to me. If the checkered area is too distracting when set next to the central image, Tosca, then I would prefer #3, again because of the color of the title text in relation to the whole triptych. I do firmly think that Tosca needs to be the central image. clifftoppler makes a good point about the outside images facing the same direction. It does effect the symmetry, however, it plays with my mind and conveys a sense of moving to the left...ie, "go"....to the opera. It might have a psychological effect of motivating the view to purchase tickets. x:) I'm no psychologist, so only express how it effected my subconscious. Suzanne

On an event poster the title is most important. The red surround makes the type stand out. The image is secondary. It's quite wonderful, but to get asses in seats you want people to know immediately what the title is.

I agree with most that the first title is easiest to read and most eye-catching, I would try it with the mosaic colors of the second to see if it stands out more. The second image seems to fit better with the other two. Regardless, they are all beautiful!
