Description

To my dearest darling sister, for whom a special day draws near, A time for celebration occurring only once each year. A date that marks achievements made and battles overcome, Through tiresome work, eternal chores, and survival as a mum. Another year of parenthood admired from afar, This witness to your mothering skills regards you as a star. From playful games and nuturing to laying down the law, To mealtime gripes and dummy spits, you hold me bound in awe. So take this chance to settle back and enjoy a day of rest, Be showered with gifts and compliments until you feel your best, For come the morning after when your spirits soared so high, You'll realise you've aged another year and breathe a mournful sigh. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIS!
