Description

Filipino craftsmen are ingenious with their works. Their works were purely functional and necessity dictated that they made do with whatever material was available then. This photograph was inspired by the creative mind that the woodworks manifests. The drama of the effect however cannot be fully captured by the photograph and i thought that perhaps the heart of the objects can best be revealed if they were enhanced by impasto painting.

Welcome to Renderosity! I hope you have loads of fun and post many wonderful things for us to look at. :) This is very cool. The textures and the light are just beautiful! I love all the detail. It's kept me looking for quite a while. You might find you'll get a better response if you post things of this style in the 2-D gallery. We just LOVE stuff like this over there!

Thank you. :) virtual painting is not as easy as others might think just because it's computer software generated. whatever art form, inspiration is still the most important ingredient and it is something that doesnt just come by. that is why it takes a while for an artist to come up with a really good work where he can say that he has put his art and soul into it. ♥

"Looks like a painting" is a compliment. It is what it is supposed to look like. But the walls are real, honest! Captured by my tiny Vivitar 3105s digicam. :)
