I like what you're going for here, but I think there are a couple of things that could be redone better. The scale on the sand is too large, and looks very strange on that cliff in the lower right corner. I like the trees and the water a lot, but I think your dunes are too sharp in the background, they look odd at that scale. Maybe flatten them out? Finally, I think you could find a more dramatic atmosphere, or render the current one at a higher (but slower) quality. The overall composition layout is very nice, and I think this would be worth revisiting.
