Spectacular shot P - I really like the nice blue tint to the halo and you've done an excellent tracking job and focus is immaculate. Beautiful dust lanes, pin-point stars - perfect shot. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful image ! What kind of telescope do you use ? I'd thought that only Hubble or large telescope based on Earth would be able to catch a picture of such quality ! thanks for your informations back

@:IATROU Hi Pictures like these were unthinkable 10 years ago using relatively modest instruments. Today digital technology allows us to obtain almost PRO images. I generally use a MEADE Schmidt Cassegrain 8" reflector telescope (F2000mm f/10 ,that I use to reduce to f/6.3),one F 800mm refractor ,and a russian made F 1000mm catadioptric that I use also as guide instrument. Thanks
