something a little different from me today i was trying to capture a sense of nightime but i think i may have my lighting wrong anyway thanx for looking though and also all who have commented on my recent posts THANK YOU VERY MUCH I AM MOST GRATEFUL TO YOU FOR THAT ;D

I see you was trying for the backlighting on the sails. I think you got it. may be a little too bright for the moon lighting. I guess. Look cool

Very well done Martin. The only minor issue is the front of the front sails appear to be lighted. A real light from where the moon is.. added with slight transparency of the sails.. would have done the trick. Still, the feeling this gives is awesome. Bravo from Dave :^)

First,I agree most with Jock, SunsetHunter, and davidoblad. Personally, IMO, as a art viewer, I thinks, "this is great," then, from our mutual "technician's POV" if you will, consider the following: on the present bow to stern light on the deck cast, matching the moonlight fall by rotating the terrain 180 (high side by stern) would've given a more balanced feel & increased the field of depth I think. But all that's just me. IMHO, this is still a 5+ BTW, where the heck is everyone getting these wooden ships? I been wanting do an old time scene for last 2 years - sheesh. Cheers~Sazz~
