A lovely macro with good pov. Don't you love the way the wings are so well defined with the dark etching? Some like the more colorful dragonflies, but I love the ones that are two-toned because they are clean, detailed and a pleasure to photograph. Very nice.

Wonderful shot, and if i am reading (guessing at) the exif right you took it with a kit lens! :) It seems a bit soft, but i think that might be a result of resizing - did you sharpen it after resize?

I am pretty sure this is a young Common Whitetail. The tip of the tail is not definitive and body colors of young males is the same as females but the wing pattern are different between the sexes. This is a male pattern. Lees
