Wonderful poem depicting the interior growth of a person. We are so complex that it is a lifelong journey within, one of discovery. That includes the joy and the pain of the process. Sometimes, it seems there's more pain, broken by a joyful rest. But, eventually, it becomes the other way around. The trick is to make the journey, not run from it. Hugs, Suzanne x:)

Seems strange to most people, but pain is my friend #^P Yeah, that's right. What is a Friend? A friend is someone that tell you the truth, never lies to you and may be Brutally honests with you at times. A Friend never takes advantage of you nor steers you in the wrong direction, so why is Pain my friend? Pain always lets me know when something is wrong, it never lies to me, it is always there to let me know I need help or I need something!!! But, even though it is my friend, I don't like him to come around, because then I know something is array, amiss, out of place, SO I try to take steps to make sure my life long friend does not have a reason to come around, ................................................. Even in the form of loneliness.....................

many people live each day with pain and never let on they are uncomfortable.others like me bellyache!!not really. my belief is you complain you will loose the few friends one has. excellent writing
