Reminds me of Springsteen's song text: "Mama always told me not to look into the eyes of the sun, but mama, that's where the fun is" (Blinded by the light). I can understand the obsession, but I can also understand mama... Don't shoot in the eyes of the sun! It's too difficult to control the lighting... But you did it..! ;o)))

Such a nice shot Rich! When i clicked your thumb the first my eyes caught is the big lower flare tho! And then when i started to look more up i saw the rest coming out between that cloud! So i was gonne say, Naaaaaaaaa, its not his best. But when i looked at your whole image in full.. I changed my mind tho, the lower and upper flares continue each other, and they did give a nice touch to your capture! Very well done and thank you for the share and comment on my Intruder, regarding the 30D, I have it + 20Da, D400, 5D and my big baby MRAK II1 DS as mentioned in my RR homepage! Now about the Macro EF100MM Of course you can use it! I was surprised you went with the Sigma tho! :D But again, its tastes right? Thank you and me back to work again. JOE

Excellent shot. I love the lens flare and that natural vignetting is stunning - I can't get it to look that good using PS - but that's natural photography without computer enhancing for you - sometimes it's just best to see, capture and upload! Great series Rich, don't leave us waiting too long for some more though. xx
